Take Good Care of the Youth – Shaykh Al-Uthaymīn

Shaykh Al-Uthaymīn (Allah have mercy on him) said:

The legislated texts came urging with (cultivating and) taking good care of the youth; directing them to that which is good, upright and proper.

Therefore, if the youth are upright and proper – and they are the foundation and future of this nation, their uprightness is built upon strong pillars of the religion and manners – in the future they will be a light for this nation and righteous successors for our scholars, inshā Allāh.

We are in Need of Allah – Shaykh Zayd bin Haadi Al Madkhalee

يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلنَّاسُ أَنتُمُ ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ

“O mankind! it is you who stand in need of Allah” Soorah Fatir Verse 15

Shaykh Zayd bin Haadi Al Madkhalee (Rahimahullah) comments:

Meaning in need of Him in all affairs from their affairs, because they they did not have knowledge and awareness of Allah, nor His religion except after Allah revealed the books to the messengers and commanded them with conveying (the message to) their nations.

Therefore the creation are in need of Allah, with regards to knowledge and awareness of their religion, and they are in need of Him throughout their lives and sustenance and their living and their dying.

Yes, in need of Allah – The Mighty and Majestic – for He is the one who looks after their affair, the affairs of the religion and the affairs of the worldly life.

Taqwa & Speaking the Truth – Ash Shaykh Rabee

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Al Allaamah Ash Shaykh Rabee (Hafidahullah) said:

“It is a must that we cultivate ourselves upon the taqwa of Allah, and it is obligatory that we cultivate ourselves upon speaking the truth, and before that; that we search after the truth. So stand on the side of the truth and be a just witness for Allah, even if it is against yourself, your parents or your relatives.”
