Allaah [The Most High] said:
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا
And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. [25:62]
The night and the day differ- this one is white and that one is black. So one takes an admonition [from them], contemplates on the difference between them and thanks Allaah for them. [Ref 1]
Whoever misses the remembrance of Allaah in the morning, then he [or she] can do so in the evening and vice versa. [Ref 2]

Allaah [The Most High] said that the Jinn said about themselves:
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّـٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٲلِكَۖ كُنَّا طَرَآٮِٕقَ قِدَدً۬ا
There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary; we are groups each having a different way. [Surah Al-Jinn’ Ayah 11]
Mujaahid said, “They [i.e. the Jinn] mean: [Some of us are] Muslims and [some] Disbelievers.” Al-Hasan and As-Sadee said, “Like yourselves [i.e. humans]; amongst them [i.e. the Jinn] are Qadariyyah, Murji’ah and Raafidah.” Sa’eed Bin Jubayr said, “[They are] different complexions.” Ibn Kaysaan said, “[They are] parties and sects.”

Allaah [The Most High] Said That Fir’awn Was From The Mufsidoon

We recite to you some of the news of Musa (Moses) and Fir’aun (Pharaoh) in truth”-Meaning: Because their story is remarkable and amazing indeed (1)]; for a people who believe”-Meaning: those who believe in this Qur’an, and in the Oneness of Allah(2)].
Verily, Fir’aun (Pharaoh) exalted himself in the land and made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them, killing their sons, and letting their females live. Verily, he was of the Mufsidun” –Meaning: Those whose intention is neither to rectify the religious nor worldly affairs, and this was from his corrupt behaviour in the earth; (3) committing unlawful killing and being disobedient [to Allaah]. What Can Afflict a Believer If He [Or She] Blindly Follows Some of Those Who Were Given the Scripture?

Allaah [The Most High] said in Surah Aal Imraan Ayah 100:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيعُوا فَرِيقًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ كَافِرِينَ
O you who believe! If you obey a group of those who were given the Scripture, they would [indeed] render you disbelievers after you have believed!
Few Reminders from the Above Aayah:
That is because of their envy and hatred towards you [believers], and their extreme eagerness to turn you away from your religion, just as He (The Most High) said:
وَدَّ كَثِيرٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ إِيمَانِكُمْ كُفَّارًا حَسَدًا مِنْ عِنْدِ أَنْفُسِهِمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ
Many of the people of the Scripture wish that if they could turn you away as disbelievers after you have believed, out of envy from their ownselves, even, after the truth (that Muhammad Peace be upon him is Allah’s Messenger) has become manifest unto them. [2:109] [Ref 1]
Az-Zujaaj [rahimahullaah] said: If you obey and blindly follow them [they would return you to disbelief] [Ref 2]
NB: The above has nothing to do with having peace treaties with non-Muslims, fulling contracts and behaving oneself whilst living in non-Muslim countries. See articles on this links

In Surah Al-Ankabut [Aayaat 38-40], after Allaah (The Most High) mentioned the people of Aad and Thamood, Allaah then mentioned the other haughty criminals Qaaroon, Fir’awn and Haamaan, saying: [وَقَـٰرُونَ وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَـٰمَـٰنَۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلۡبَيِّنَـٰتِ فَٱسۡتَڪۡبَرُواْ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا كَانُواْ سَـٰبِقِينَ – And Qaaroon, Fir’aun (Pharaoh), and Haman; and indeed Musa (Moses) came to them with clear Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but they were arrogant in the land, yet they could not outstrip Us (escape Our punishment). [29:39]
When Moosaa Ibn Imraan (alayhis salaam) came -with the clear signs and evidences – to Qaaroon, Fir’awn and Haamaan, they did not submit; rather they became haughty in the earth towards the slaves of Allaah (i.e. the believers) and humiliated them. They (i.e. Qaaroon, Fir’awn & Haamaan) were too proud to accept the truth and thus rejected it. However, when the punishment (of Allaah) came to them, they were unable to save themselves. [Ref 1]

Those Who Sow Corruption and Sever the Ties of Kinship after Being Given Authority in the Earth
Written by Enam Ali on . Posted in Morals and Manners - 'Akhlaaq', Purification of The Soul, Qur'aan, Scholars of Islam.

Allaah (The Most High) says:
Would you then, if you were given the authority, do mischief in the land, and sever your ties of kinship? Such are they whom Allah has cursed, so that He has made them deaf and blinded their sight. [47:22-23]
[When given authority in the earth], a person either obeys Allaah and fulfils Allaah’s commandments, so that uprightness in all affairs and success (is achieved); or he turns away from obedience to Allaah, and thus corruption (spreads in the) earth through acts of disobedience to Allaah and severing the ties of kinship. These people – those who sow corruption in the earth and sever the ties of kinship- are cursed by Allaah; distanced from Allaah’s Mercy and drawn close to Allaah’s anger.
They neither listen to what benefits them nor can they see it (in reality). They have hearing but they do not listen in order to comply with and accept (what benefits them in reality). They have eyes, but neither do they utilise them to observe events and signs that serve as a warning (or admonition) nor are they inclined towards proofs that (truly) distinguish between truth and falsehood.

Allaah (The Most High) said:
وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ۬ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا طَـٰٓٮِٕرٍ۬ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيۡهِ إِلَّآ أُمَمٌ أَمۡثَالُكُمۚ مَّا فَرَّطۡنَا فِى ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ مِن شَىۡءٍ۬ۚ
There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you. We have neglected nothing in the Book.[6:38]
That is all the land and air animals, such as cattle, wild animals and birds–they are all nations like yourselves. (Allaah) created them just as He created you; (Allaah) provide them with sustenance just as He provides for you. They are all under the will and power of Allaah just as you are.
[مَّا فَرَّطۡنَا فِى ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ مِن شَىۡءٍ۬ۚ – We have neglected nothing in the Book]. There is nothing of these things that has been missed or forgotten by Allaah in the preserved tablet; rather all things-be they small or big-are written in the preserved tablet just as they are. All the events take place just as it was written down by the pen.
This Ayah is a proof that the first Book (i.e. the Lawh Al-Mahfoodh) contains all the things that will happen (i.e. written 50,000 years before the creation) and this is one of the levels of Divine Will and Decree. The Devine Will and Decree consists of four things:
[a] Allaah’s All-Encompassing knowledge of all things; [b] The writing down of everything that will exist; [c] His all-encompassing Will and Power over everything; [d] He created all the creation, even the actions of the slaves.

One of The Reasons Why the Believers Give Precedence to The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) Over Everyone Else Amongst Mankind and Jinn
Written by Enam Ali on . Posted in Aqeedah (Creed & Belief), Worship - 'Ibaadah'.
Allaah (The Most High) said:
“النَّبِيُّ أَوْلَىٰ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ
The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves. [Al-Ahzaab. Ayah:6]
Summarised benefits:
The closest thing a person possesses and the most important thing he has is him (or herself). However, the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) is more worthy of person than him (or herself). That is because the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) gave them (i.e. the creation) sincere advise, and showed them affection and compassion. There is none who shows the most mercy and compassion to the creation except that the Messenger is the greatest favour amongst the creation to the people than everyone else. That is because neither an atom’s weight of good has reached them nor an atom’s weight of evil is repelled from them, except through him (i.e. due to the message he conveyed to them from Allaah). And for this reason it is obligated on them that when the desires of their souls are in opposition to what the Messenger wants (from them), they should give precedence to what the Messenger wants (from them). They should not oppose the statement of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) with the statement of anyone else-regardless who that person may be-and they are to sacrifice themselves, their wealth and offspring in giving precedence to loving the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wsallam) over the entire creation. They are not to say anything (i.e. in the religion) until he says so, nor do they put themselves forward before him.
