Shaikh Fawzaan’s Verdict On Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen

All praise is due to Allaah, and salaat and salaam upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and his companions.

My view with regards to the Muslim Brotherhood is that they are partisans (Hizbiyyoon) who covet the attainment of ruler ship; and that they do not give concern to calling to the correcting of the creed (Aqeedah).

And they do not distinguish between their followers, between the Sunni (person upon the Sunnah) and the bid’ee (person upon innovation).

As for the speech (found) in an audio recording that has come from me, then it is a slip of the tongue and does not change my stance in the slightest.

Question Them About The Sunnah

In The Naame of Allaah, The Most Merciful The Bestower of Mercy

Hishaam Bin Urwah (rahimahullaah) used to say:

”Do not question the people about what they have innovated today,

because they have prepared answers for it;

rather ask them about the Sunnah because they do not know it.”

The Reality of Philosophy – ibn Taymiyyah

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful The Bestower of Mercy

Sheikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said:

”Philosophical logic is like the flesh of a camel at the top of a mountain. It is not easy to climb the mountain, nor is the flesh good enough to justify climbing, nor is the path leading to it easy to follow.’’   He (rahimahullaah) also said: ”There are no philosophers upon right guidance”  He (rahimahullaah) also said: ‘’Islaam does not have philosophers’’[1]
